7CR17MOV special high-carbon alloy steel chromium produces an invisible but very dense chromium oxide film, which prevents the steel from being corroded and is a charm used to keep the tool. Molybdenum mainly plays a role in strengthening the corrosion effect of chromium in steel and keeping the cutter sharp. Vanadium has the ability of deacidification and deoxidation in the steel, so that its section crystals is compact and has a higher strength. At the same time, this kind of steel can make the cutter sharper, sharp durability is further improved, and to overcome the blade scratch, gap defects.

Secondary remelting, which can further reduce the harmful elements P and S in the steel, make the composition more uniform, and improve the purity and compactness of the steel.
