SKS3 material high toughness, high hardness air cooling hardening high chromium tool steel, better than the hardness and toughness of SKD steel and pure steel, spheroidal annealing softening structure is easy to machining, quenching has a higher hardness, tempering has better dimensional stability. It is widely used to make blanking die, stamping die, bending die and finishing die with thickness no more than 8mm. Used for making gauge, measuring tool, woodworking tool, lathe thimble, thimble, die, silk needle, etc.
SKS3(9CrWMn) die steel is low alloy cold work die steel.The steel has a certain degree of hardenability and wear resistance, quenching deformation is small, uniform distribution of carbide particles small, usually used to make small cross section and shape more complex cold stamping die and various gauges and tools.
